Infrared landscape

Infrared landscape, originally uploaded by Photomike07.

While swatting a few mosquitoes on a trek thru South Florida, I faintly heard this scene calling out to be captured. In infrared that is. While feeling a bit creative last night, I had a little fun processing this one after the Oregon Coast image (see last nights post, I really like that one!).

Sure, the caption is a bit lame here, but I must say that In light of what is happening just a few miles from South Florida this evening, my post seems kinda trivial. If you feel so inclined, pray for our our brothers and sisters in Haiti this evening. They sure could use it!

Beautiful surreal landscape. A very nice, unusually tasteful and effective use of infrared, which doesn't forget that even IR images benefit from good composition.
